The Problem Gambling Certificate Course provides the 30 hours of required education on prevention, early intervention, and treatment of problematic and disordered gambling for individuals and families. This program meets training and education criteria for International Gambling Counselor Certification, known as the ICGC-I. This program also provides 3 hours of ethics and 1 hour of suicide prevention training through the lens of problem gambling, also known as the hidden addiction.
This 18-module, self-paced course delivers lessons through lectures, videos, and experiential assignments and activities as you prepare for your ICGC-I Certification. There are short quizzes at the end of each module to test your knowledge.
This course also provides you with a Microcredential from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Social Work.
